This four-week non-performance class teaches you the basics of building trust with your fellow participants’ byway of acceptance, support and play. Delve deeper into the performance aspect of improv by looking at it from a broader perspective. Learn how to thread a story into your performance while maintaining variety within your scenes. Expand on character, and platform all while accepting the curveballs that come with improvisation.

If you’re a stand up comedian, a writer, a student, someone looking to try something new, then this is the perfect stepping stone into the fun, fast, hilarious art of Sketch Comedy!

This four week course will give you all the tools needed to create hilarious, fully realized characters. We will get you developing a character and then how we can write them into different types of sketches. Learn creation of body, voice, and what drives your character.
Must have taken Intro to sketch comedy to register.

This six week course follows the intensive process of putting together a sketch show from the ground up! You will be put in a sketch ensemble, work closely with our instructors each week from pitching, writing, and show structure to create a fully realized sketch show.
