Ash Mercia is an actor, improviser, writer, and director. She is also a teacher. After discovering the secret to making a regular job and an acting career coexist, she balances on the perpetual tightrope of life. She performs regularly, and she especially enjoys creating her own shows (Improvised D&D, DASH: The Improvised Puppet Musical, Song Parody: The Musical!). She has also performed at the iO Theatre in Chicago and in New York at DCM18. With all that under her belt she has been trusted with teaching improv to the masses and has coached high school improv (HHHS). Her latest project involved bringing history to life (Heritage Park Historical Village). Ash has a Bachelor of Education (UofA) and a Theatre Performance Studies Diploma (RDC).
